Announcing Association Name Change & Introducing New Category - Victim Counselor!

In order to expand the service to victims provided by Victim Relief Ministries, Victim Chaplain & Counselor Association of America is undergoing a name change to include the professional category of Victim Counselors. Any licensed counselor may join membership in VCCAA, but in order to receive referrals and be used as part of a S.A.V.E. team in response with Victim Relief Ministries to victims; counselors must meet the qualifications and training requirements of VCCAA for counselors.

Many counselors have completed CISM training and are looking for ways to incorporate this training in serving victims. Victim Relief Ministries and VCCAA can be a vehicle through which they serve.

Victim Relief Ministries is an organization called on by law enforcement, Disaster Relief, and Homeland Security in the Texas area to serve anywhere, anytime there is a need. New VRM Chapters are being formed in other areas around the nation and will rely on trained crisis intervention Chaplains, counselors and volunteers for meeting needs of victims.

To join VCCAA as a Victim Counselor, click here, complete application, and mail along with your annual membership of $95.00 and the copies of items listed on page two of the application.
